In 2011, brothers Robert and Gavin Paisley decided they were done with their business “developing back-office systems software.” “We were desperate to make something with our hands,” says Gavin. The duo set about choosing a new creative business and hit the jackpot with architectural-model-making, using both traditional plaster-cast methods (hence “Chisel”) and modern 3-D printing and computer-aided design (CAD) technology (hence “Mouse”).
